Although not an inveterate music lover, Pablo Picasso's artistic stature and genius played an important role in the musical era of his time.

His encounters with composers such as Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, Edgar Varese, Igor Stravinsky, Manuel de Falla..., his involvement in the extraordinary adventure of Russian ballet, his collaboration with the ballet Parade, the creation of Pulcinella and other musical performances, his catalytic role in the subtle interactions between Spanish and French music schools, not to mention the collusion between his pictorial world and the imaginary world of jazz or chanson: Gil Evans, Jean Ferrat, Manitas de Plata...

So many effervescences could only give rise to a magnificent program with a palette as varied as the one of this exceptional painter.
