Tęskno is a joint project of two talented artists who "combine sounds, melodies and sounds they long for". The group was founded by vocalist Joanna Longić, who works in the electronic music field, and the award-winning pianist and composer Hania Rani. The result of this cooperation are very atmospheric, richly arranged pieces in which one can hear fascination with chamber music or Scandinavian art-pop. The music is delicate and romantic, which is emphasized by the lyrics written in Polish and the quintet of musicians supporting the duo: Kornelia Grądzka (violin), Paulina Kusa (violin), Mateusz Wasiucionek (viola), Zuzanna Stradowska (cello) and Stanisław Czyżewski (double bass). The album features 12 original compositions, recorded in Monochrom Studio and produced by Hania Rani and Piotr Wieczorek, who is also responsible for the mix and mastering.
