From "The Cat Waltz" to the star "Zaniah", Svetlana Andreeva's virtuoso piano plays delicately "Through the Window" of her life. "Five Flowers" blossoms in five beats, just to say that being different is "No Tragedy". For her, cherries are grey ("Gris-Cerise"). Her passion for music is a "Wild Sonata". Her finale is an abandonment of freedom in a sophisticated "Divagation".
Born in the south of Ukraine, Svetlana Andreeva's musical youth was spent on the Moscow Volga. After a brilliant academic career in Vienna, "Synesthesia" is now taking her on an unprecedented French adventure with Sfumato Records. Sfumato Records is a newly established French label specialising in premiere recordings and musical creation, which it promotes alongside leading international artists and institutions. Synesthesia is the first milestone in this exciting and ambitious undertaking.
