Gesaffelstein (real name Mike Levy) is 26 years old, French electronic producer from Paris, France. His style can be describe as a dark and atmospheric techno, brutal and epic. His music must be seen as a work on textures and spaces with as much attention as on club beats and composition.
In live Gesaffelstein is providing the crowd an immersive and heavy show. He experienced it as such prestigious gigs as I Love Techno in Belgium or the Holy Ship cruise.
He released his first EP “Vengeance Factory” in 2008 on OD Records, to much critical acclaim. In 2010, Gesaffelstein signed to the prestigious label Turbo Records, on which he released his “Variations” EP, and in 2011, his “Conspiracy Part 1” EP, then a little bit later the part 2.Then he released 2 EP on the Brodinski’s label Bromance : a split EP (Brodinski / Gesaffelstein) in 2011 and a solo EP in 2012. He signed to EMI Music France in May 2013 and his album is due this fall.
We will first release a video on 17th June and a second single will follow before the album release. Gesaffelstein is not a promo junky, so he will do no short interviews and only selected ones. Since we are building a long term relationship with this artist we will first look to raise the artist profile. Listening to the Lana Del Rey Blue Jeans remix or his track VIOL synched to Givenchy on-line world campaign, you will easily understand the caliber of our artist. To follow on that path, we will heavily promote first our singles videos to value the artist’s image.
