Chase & Status today announce their forthcoming new album, Generic Everything, set for release on 9th October 2026, alongside brand new single "Gone Too Far" featuring Debbie.

Marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for one of the most important acts in British music, the 10-track record brings together an extraordinary cast of collaborators including J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, IRAH, Col3trane, Debbie, Saam Sultan, Finesse Kid and Ledbyher.

Speaking on the project, Chase & Status state: “Generic Everything is about resisting the pressure to become the same as everyone else. In a world shaped by AI, algorithms and endless content, creativity is constantly being pushed towards what’s familiar, safe and predictable. The cube is our symbol for that pressure; a place where original ideas are squeezed into the same shape. This album is about pushing back. Every song, visual and show is an attempt to break out of the cube and create something that feels genuinely different. The idea isn’t simply that creativity is trapped. It’s that it’s being forced to conform.”

Following more than two decades spent consistently pushing at the boundaries of UK electronic music, Generic Everything sees Chase & Status once again refusing to be confined by genre. Across the record, the duo move between rave, rap, soundsystem culture, electronic music and beyond, bringing together artists and sounds from across the musical landscape while remaining rooted in the unmistakable production that has defined their career.

The album follows the recent single "Disgruntled" featuring J Hus and IRAH, which offered the first glimpse into this next era. Pairing Chase & Status' production with J Hus' unmistakable flow and genre-defining artistry alongside regular collaborator IRAH, the track set the tone for an album built around unexpected combinations and a continued desire to push their sound forward.

Across Generic Everything, Chase & Status are set to continue that collaborative spirit on an ambitious scale. Little Simz joins the duo on "Carnage", while Skrillex features on "Essa Ta Quente". Elsewhere, UK rap heavyweight Giggs appears on "Timber", grime icon D Double E features on "Levels", and Blanco and Finesse Kid join forces on "Juggin'". The album also features contributions from Saam Sultan, Ledbyher, Debbie, IRAH and Col3trane, bringing together established names and emerging voices across its 10 tracks.

The Skrillex collaboration arrives following a huge moment for the pair this summer, when Chase & Status surprised crowds at Boomtown with a B2B set alongside Skrillex, bringing together two of electronic music's most influential forces. The appearance offered another glimpse into the collaborative energy surrounding this next chapter for the duo, with Skrillex now joining them on forthcoming Generic Everything track "Essa Ta Quente".

Collaboration has always been central to Chase & Status' world. Consistently early in identifying and platforming voices that go on to define the moment, they have established themselves as true tastemakers within UK music, connecting scenes, generations and sounds with precision. Across their career, their catalogue has brought together some of the most important names in British music, including Stormzy, Kano, Giggs, Dizzee Rascal, Wretch 32, Tempa T, Lancey Foux, Blade Brown and Pozer, with Generic Everything continuing that legacy through collaborations with J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex and more.

The album also follows a relentless period of new music from Chase & Status. Throughout 2026, the duo have released collaborations with Pozer on "Through The Pain", Blade Brown on "Doin It More" and Lancey Foux on "Homework", further reinforcing their ability to unite the worlds of electronic music and UK rap while spotlighting some of the country's most exciting voices.

This new chapter has also extended into their live world through SECTION 63, a concept that evolves the traditional DJ show format into a new experience rooted in underground club culture. Following experiences across London and Tilburg, SECTION 63 travelled to Australia earlier this year, reflecting the duo's continued desire to challenge expectations both on record and in the live space.

The announcement arrives amid another landmark year for Chase & Status, following a sensational period that has reaffirmed their position at the forefront of British music. "Baddadan" spent over 15 weeks in the UK Top 10 and achieved Platinum certification, while "BACKBONE" featuring Stormzy became the duo's first ever UK Number One single. Alongside a record breaking sold out UK arena tour, their Milton Keynes National Bowl takeover and a BRIT Award for British Producer of the Year, Chase & Status continue to operate at a career-defining level more than two decades in.

This summer has seen that momentum continue, with Chase & Status headlining the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, their surprise Boomtown B2B with Skrillex, and another major moment still to come as they prepare to headline the Main Stage at Reading & Leeds this August.

With over 2.5 billion global streams, a BRIT Award for British Producer of the Year and more than two decades at the cutting edge of UK dance music, Chase & Status' impact continues to span generations and scenes.

With Generic Everything, Chase & Status begin their next chapter. Bringing together some of the most distinctive voices from across UK music and beyond, the album captures a duo still driven by the same instinct that has kept them at the forefront of British music for over twenty years: to keep moving, keep collaborating and never be easily defined.
