Breaking Records on Tour
In recent years, Fally Ipupa has consistently made history with a series of landmark, record-breaking concert tours across Europe and Africa, cementing the immense live drawing power of African music on international stages. Headline achievements include historic sold-out performances at Paris La Défense Arena (40,000 capacity), OVO Arena Wembley in London (12,500 capacity), ING Arena in Brussels (15,000 capacity), and Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin (5,000 capacity), alongside legendary stadium shows across the African continent.
His monumental performance in Paris marked a major milestone for African culture, as Ipupa became the very first African solo artist to sell out Paris La Défense Arena, Europe’s largest indoor venue. This historic feat followed his earlier sold-out success at the 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris, cementing his status as a pioneer who helped pave the way for African artists headlining major European arenas.
Preserving and Reinventing Congolese Rumba
At the heart of Ipupa’s vision is the constant balance between heritage and musical innovation. The artist carries forward the rich legacy of Congolese rumba—a genre officially inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list in 2021 in recognition of its profound cultural significance and international influence.
Originating from Central African traditions and enriched through historic cultural exchanges between Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America, rumba remains a cornerstone of Congolese identity and artistic expression. Through his extensive body of work, Ipupa has continuously modernized the genre, blending its classic guitar-driven arrangements and complex polyrhythms with contemporary pop, R&B, and Afropop textures.
Philanthropy and Cultural Impact
Beyond music, Ipupa is deeply committed to social impact. He collaborates with global institutions including UNESCO, United Nations Development Programme and UNICEF.
Currently serving as a UNICEF National Ambassador in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ipupa has actively spearheaded campaigns since 2017 to fight child malnutrition, a critical issue impacting close to 10 million children in the region annually. More than just an album, XX : Délirium is a love letter to a universal cultural heritage and a striking demonstration that, after two decades at the top, Fally Ipupa continues to push the boundaries of his legacy. Elevating the blend between the global pop energy of TOKOOOS and his traditional roots, the release is spearheaded by the focus track 'C'est comment' (feat. Afrikan Legend).
A physical edition (CD digisleeve + Vinyl) will also be released alongside the digital album, including a limited edition ‘Chevalier’.
Historic Shows and Upcoming Tour
Following his historic double-header at Paris's legendary Stade de France (80,000 capacity per night), Fally Ipupa is gearing up for a Fall 2026 International Tour. Already having added a new date at the O2 Arena in London and announced multiple dates in Brussels and Côte d’Ivoire, this upcoming run will see him bring his celebrated live show to major venues across Europe, North America, and Canada, solidifying his position as one of global music's premier touring artists.
