A second album from Songhoy Blues „Résistance” will have its premiere on 16th June. The album was recorded in the autumn of 2016 in The Pool Studio in London. It was produced by Neil Comber (MIA, Django Django, Crystal Fighters, Declan McKenna). On this magnificent record we will also hear Nick Zinner, Julian Casablancas, Damon Albarn, Lxury, Iggy Pop, Elf Kid and Stealing Sheep.
Songhoy Blues gained a massive attention from the audience in 2015 when they released a debut album "Music In Exile". Critically acclaimed album was followed by a world wide tour (including festivals such as Latitude, Green Man, Glastonbury or OFF Festival in Katowice. The band was nominated for Q Awards in Best Debut category. They also performed in a legendary TV show "Later... with Jools Holland".
