Tarntanya/Adelaide-based five-piece contemporary folk band, Any Young Mechanic, release their brand-new single entitled “Pretty Strange World” via Warner Records. The track follows their previous singles “My House Divides,” “There’s A New Place On The Market” and “Snug Barber,” and comes alongside the official music video. Drummer Jay Eliot Mee says, “Our little adventure into math - the topsy-turvy rhythmic approach is both incredibly fun plus a neat camouflage for Sam’s lyrical introspection.” In addition to the track, the band announces their upcoming debut album, The Modern Shoe Is Ruining The Foot, which is set for release on June 5th.
Any Young Mechanic have also announced their upcoming tour dates in New York and Los Angeles in May.
