SAM HUNT

Sam Hunt (born December 8, 1984) is an American country music singer-songwriter and former college football player. Hunt was originally an football player for both Middle Tennessee State University and University of Alabama at Birmingham. He later worked as a free agent for the Kansas City Chiefs, but after he was unable to become a professional player, Hunt became a singer-songwriter. Hunt co-wrote Kenny Chesney’s 2012 single “Come Over”, for which he received an award from ASCAP. A year later, Hunt released his debut single “Raised on It” via Combustion Music, Hunt also wrote two singles released in 2014: Keith Urban’s “Cop Car” and Billy Currington’s “We Are Tonight”. In January 2014, it was confirmed that Hunt had signed with MCA Nashville, and would begin touring with labelmate David Nail.

Sam Hunt, (Samuel Percival Maitland) CNZM, QSM (born in Castor Bay Auckland on 4 July 1946) is a New Zealand performance poet. He has also been referred to as New Zealand’s best-known poet.
