Christine and the Queens is the ambitious project of French singer and composer Heloïse Letissier who defines herself as a band, bringing together in her vocals, her own voice and the ones of her ‘Queens’. Her Queens, 2 travesties she met at the underground bar from Soho, Madame Jojo’s, will tell her something she’ll keep preciously, like a talisman: “people should invent themselves…” The character Christine And The Queens was born.
After three EPs : “Miséricorde”, “Mac Abbey” and “Nuit 17 à 52”, Christine finally released her first album “Chaleur Humaine”, with a very intimate pop-electronic sound. The album has been acclaimed by all Medias, and little by little, convinced everybody. The album is now four times-platinum in France, and Platinum in Belgium. She has been elected 2015 “Best Female Artist” and “Best Video for Saint Claude” at les Victoires de la Musique (French Grammys).
