This year would have been Cilla Black’s 75th birthday and 55th year in show business.
Signed by Beatles manager Bryan Epstein her first single was released on Parlophone in 1963. She went on to have the biggest selling single of the 1960s by a female artist with ‘Anyone Who Had a Heart’ which was follow by her second number 1 single ‘You’re My World’.
Recorded with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, with producers James Morgan and Juliette Pochin (producers of gold and platinum selling albums by Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins, Alexander Armstrong…) and features duets with Sir Cliff Richard, Sheridan Smith and Rebecca Ferguson.
Cilla with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will be release on CD and standard digital on 16th November 2018.
