Anžej Dežan is a Slovenian singer born on 17th of June, 1987 in Šentjur near Celje, SFR Yugoslavia. He started his music career as a child by winning on the TV show Karakoke, when he was 10 years old. He achieved his major succes 8 years later in talent show Spet Doma on RTV Slovenia, where he was beaten by Omar Naber, and finished second.
Soon after the show, he started collaborating with composers Urša Vlašič, Matjaž Vlašič & Boštjan Grabnar. The product of their collaboration was single C'est La Vie, which was commercialy successful and was featured on slovenia radio charts.
