The one and only Cher is releasing special vinyl editions and expanded digital versions of her classic albums (two of her favorite records), Living Proof and Closer to the Truth.
Both albums will be available on vinyl from Warner Records on June 28. LIVING PROOF will be pressed on cola-bottle green vinyl, while CLOSER TO THE TRUTH will be released on bone-colored vinyl.
In addition to the vinyl releases, Warner will also introduce expanded digital versions of the albums. CLOSER TO THE TRUTH (SUPER DELUXE DIGITAL ALBUM) is out today. It features the digital debut of “Will You Wait For Me,” which was previously only available on the Target edition of the album.
On June 28, LIVING PROOF (DELUXE DIGITAL ALBUM) will debut digitally. It includes the track listing used for the U.S. version of the album, plus two bonus tracks (“The Look” and “You Take It All”) from the international version.
Following the global success of her quadruple-platinum 1998 album, Believe, Cher returned in 2001 with her 24th studio album, LIVING PROOF. The album debuted at #9 on the Billboard albums chart and featured the #1 Dance Club hits “Song For The Lonely,” “A Different Kind Of Love Song,” and “When The Money’s Gone.”
Cher’s next album, CLOSER TO THE TRUTH, debuted at #3 on the Billboard albums chart in 2013. It produced several Dance Club hits, including the #1 smash “Woman’s World.” The new vinyl and digital versions of the album include “You Haven’t Seen The Last Of Me” from the soundtrack to Cher’s hit film Burlesque (2010).
