LAURA PAUSINI new cover album, IO CANTO 2, will be released on 6 February 2026 by Warner Records / Warner Music Italy and is now available for pre-order in the following physical formats: CD standard edition, CD deluxe edition, 2 x black vinyl standard edition, 2 x silver vinyl deluxe and limited signed edition vinyl.
The news comes just a few days after the release of the first single from the album, RITORNO AD AMARE, originally written and performed by Biagio Antonacci (2001), and released in Laura's version for Warner Records / Warner Music Italy on all digital platforms, produced and arranged by Paolo Carta and Laura herself.
The tracklist for IO CANTO 2 has also been revealed, in both the standard version (comprising 17 tracks) and the deluxe version, the latter enriched with 4 additional tracks.
It is a true tribute to the singer-songwriters and composers of Italian music history, with a broader horizon that also includes songs in foreign languages with a particular connection to Italy: from a Portuguese adaptation of La mia storia tra le dita by Ana Carolina to the hit by Tribalistas, Ja sei namorar, whose front woman and author, Marisa Monte, has Italian roots; from the French version of Due vite by Marco Mengoni to the German, Portuguese and English adaptations of Il cielo in una stanza by Gino Paoli, originally sung by Mina; to the tribute to one of the greatest pop stars of all time, Madonna, also of Italian origin, whose evergreen La isla bonita is reinterpreted by Laura. The songs range from 1960 to 2023, including Felicità, a song in which Laura combines her voice with that of the late, great pillar of songwriting, Lucio Dalla.
The opportunity to hear some of these songs live, in addition to hits from her entire career, will be from March 2026, with the debut of the IO CANTO / YO CANTO WORLD TOUR 2026/2027, her eleventh world tour, already a huge success that has recently seen the addition of new dates.
Laura Pausini's new live marathon will start abroad for the first time, specifically in Spain, on March 27, 2026 in Pamplona, touching Tenerife and the cities of Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid, before continuing in Latin America, with dates in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, and then landing in the United States, in the cities of Miami, Orlando, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
In autumn, it will be Italy and Europe's turn, in the arenas of the largest cities, before landing in Brazil in February 2027 to return home with a mega stadium show and a winter reprise back in Italy and Europe until the end of the year.
It will be another great live marathon, reflecting the calibre of an International artist who has been bringing her music around the world for more than 30 years and who this year will present some of the tracks from her new album in addition to her most famous songs.
The Spanish version of the album, YO CANTO 2, will be released by Warner Records/Warner Music on 13 March 2026 and will feature songs by the greatest Latin artists, representing every single country that has crowned her a musical icon, from Spain to Argentina, Mexico to Chile, Colombia to Peru, and many more.
The record-breaking singer-songwriter, global pop icon, with million records sold worldwide, more than 6 billion streams, recognised as the most listened to Italian female Artist abroad, the first and only Italian artist to win a Grammy Award and enter the Billboard Hot 100, the first and only Italian artist to enter the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 in the US with Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro's version of her hit Se fue, she has won four Latin Grammy Awards and was celebrated by the Latin Recording Academy as 'Person of the Year 2023' (the first non-Spanish native speaker ever to receive this award). Her list of achievements also includes a Golden Globe, an Emmy Award nomination and an Oscar nomination-
