Back in 2005, Michael Bublé walked on stage at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, CA and delivered a blockbuster 100-minute set, which has since gone on to represent a legendary “you-had-to-be-there” moment for anyone lucky enough to be in attendance. If you weren’t in the room, you got the chance to relive most of the night on 2006’s 4x-Platinum DVD Caught In The Act or in part during an episode of Great Performances on PBS. Accompanying the DVD, he initially released the live album, Caught In The Act, on November 15, 2005, but it only featured eight songs…
For the first time ever, the GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum superstar entertainer will showcase all 33 songs from this milestone evening on his upcoming new 100-minute concert album, Live! Caught In The Act, out April 24, 2026, to be available on all streaming platforms and CD.
He precedes its arrival by sharing “That’s All (Live).” Uplifted by a heartfelt vocal turn, it’s the perfect prelude of what to expect from the whole gig.
Live! Caught In The Act offers the ultimate vignette into Bublé’s journey at a pivotal point in his career. You can practically hear his hunger, heart, drive, and determination in the full-bodied and bold delivery of classics like “How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You,” “This Love,” “Save The Last Dance For Me,” and “Come Fly With Me.” He had distinguished himself as a performer of the people, cracking jokes, acting as the ultimate host, and forging a tactile bond with the crowd by way of handshakes and hugs.
Introducing “Let It Snow,” he urged everybody to pretend it was Christmas in the event that PBS aired the show during the holidays. No matter what time of year it is, this specific rendition sounds like December’s in full bloom. Ultimately, Live! Caught In The Act captures the 21st century’s consummate showman during one of the most special gigs on his meteoric rise to international superstardom. As such, it’s essential for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
Back in December, Bublé notably made headlines with a historic performance at the sixth edition of the Concert with the Poor. With Pope Leo XIV in attendance, the event marked the first time a Pope was present at an edition of the Concert with the Poor.
Moreover, Bublé wrapped his monumental third consecutive season as a coach on NBC’s The Voice, closing out Season 28 with a bang. The five-time GRAMMY® Award-winner first joined the powerhouse coaching panel in September 2024 and made a huge splash, taking home back-to-back wins on both Seasons 26 and 27. Plus, he shined alongside some of music’s biggest stars for A GRAMMY® CELEBRATION OF LATIN MUSIC, highlighting Latin music’s lasting impact and widespread influence in the United States. It’s streaming on Paramount+.
Stay tuned for more from Michael Bublé in 2026. In the meantime, let him take you back to 2005 with Live! Caught In The Act.
