Crvena Jabuka are a pop rock band from Sarajeva, Bosnia and Herzegovina, currently based in Zagreb, Croatia. As one of the most successful Yugoslavian rock groups, they were considered (among Plavi Orkestar, Bijelo Dugme, Dino Merlin, Zabranjeno Pušenje) to be a prime example of the Sarajevo's type of rock, even though the origins of the band were closely related to the punk-oriented New Primitives movements. Crvena Jabuka, which means “Red Apple”, was founded in 1985.
