In 1975, the former member of the iconic so-called “Krautrock” band Kraftwerk and co-founder of the equally iconic formation Neu!, the late Klaus Dinger, joined with his brother Thomas Dinger and Hans Lampe to create the electronic project LA DÜSSELDORF. Blending electronic sounds, soundcollages, instrumental pieces and multilingual vocals, La Düsseldorf set the stage for an innovative  turn in electronic music. Brian Eno and David Bowie were inspired by the German trio with Bowie calling them “the soundtrack of the eighties” – in the midst of the seventies!

This release is a  fantastic collection of all of La Düsseldorf’s singles, on a black vinyl 10” with die cut sleeve.
