Atlantic recording group Halestorm today unleashed their fourth album, Vicious.
Recorded earlier this year at Nashville, TN’s Rock Falcon recording studio with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice In Chains, Rush), Vicious includes the hit single “Uncomfortable,” called a “brash, barreling new song” by Revolver and now approaching top 5 at active rock radio.
Revolver called Vicious “12 razor-sharp, arena-ready anthems that rank among the group's boldest material yet, both musically…and lyrically.” Loudwire said of frontwoman Lzzy Hale’s vocals on the album, "Boisterous, seductive, and darkly funny all at once, [Lzzy's] alto swoops from seething to soaring."
Tonight, Halestorm kicks off the second leg of their tour in in Kansas City, MO. The hugely successful run features all female-fronted rock bands, with In This Moment and New Years Day on the bill. The third leg of the tour, slated for this fall, goes on-sale today.
Halestorm’s run of dates includes a one-night only support slot for the iconic Joan Jett & The Blackhearts on August 9th at Moorhead, MN’s Bluestem Amphitheater.
