BNQT will release their first album "Volume 1." on April the 28th on Bella Union. The supergroup consists of members of huge bands: Eric Pulido of Midlake, Ben Bridwell of Band of Horses, Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand, Fran Healy of Travis and Jason Lytle of Grandaddy. The album was recorded in the band's private studio in Denton, Texas.
The idea to form a superband came first to Eric Pulido during Midlake's tour in 2013. Eric had dreamed of forming a supergroup where members would contrast one another but also this would be an incredible creative asset. With the invited music friends he'd already shared either studio or stages which lead into friendship.
