Santa Monica, CA’s Weezer released their self-titled, tenth studio album (aka “white album”), via Crush Music/Atlantic Records (the first release off of Crush Music's new joint venture with WMG). Produced by the band and Jake Sinclair, the album follows 2014’s critically praised Everything Will Be Alright In The End, and continues that record’s celebrated return to musical form.
The current single from Weezer is a sun-bleached sing-along called “King Of The World,” a follow up to the Top 10 ALT single “Thank God For Girls.” The band performed it on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday night and are making their first appearance on “Good Morning America” this Friday morning in celebration of the album launch.
In support of the album, which is already being hailed as “insanely catchy” (NPR), Weezer will be embarking on a massive, North American co-headlining tour this summer with Panic! At The Disco. The 40+ city tour which has already sold out in 12 different markets, will feature Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness as a special guest.
