Before Klaus Doldinger founded the legendary band Passport in 1971, he turned to rock-jazz and fusion music with his band Motherhood in 1969.  This self-titled album is the band's second from 1970. The Line Up features outstanding musicians like Keith Forsey on Drums and Vocals, who later worked with artists like Amon Düül ll, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Boney M., Psychedelic Furs or Billy Idol. He also produced soundtracks for movies and series like Beverly Hills Cop, Ghostbusters, American Pie, Futurama, Scrubs and many more. Udo Lindenberg became one of Germany’s most successful artists and still plays arena shows.

Doldinger himself is one of Germany’s leading Jazz musicians who released numerous albums and soundtracks in various constellations, honored with the Federal Cross of Merit or the Germany Echo for his lifetime achievement. The album, which has been out of print for a long time, has finally been remastered for vinyl and is being reissued as a 1LP and will also be released digitally for the first time.
