This year, Rhino’s RSD Black Friday is packed with 21 exclusive albums from their diverse roster of artists. Highlights include vinyl releases from The Doors, Ramones, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and Van Halen, a Steve Martin picture disc, 12” releases from Echo & The Bunnymen, and a Grateful Dead boxed set. These titles will be available on November 29 at participating indie music retailers.

Featuring: Sugaree, Scarlet > Fire, St. Stephen > Sugar Magnolia, Estimated Prophet, and what is widely considered one of the best performances of Peggy-O. Available in a limited edition 4LP set.

The Grateful Dead was a rock band that formed in 1965 in San Francisco, California, United States from the remnants of another band, “Mother McCree’s Uptown Jug Champions,” The Grateful Dead were known for their unique and eclectic songwriting style which fused elements of rock, folk music, bluegrass, blues, country, and jazz, and also for live performances of long modal jams. The group disbanded immediately after the death of singer/guitarist Jerry Garcia in 1995.
