As her marriage dissolves, a Manhattan writer takes driving lessons from a Sikh instructor with marriage troubles of his own. In each other's company they find the courage to get back on the road and the strength to take the wheel.
Dhani Harrison and Paul Hicks are respectively the sons of the Beatles’ and the Hollies’ guitarists Tony Hicks and George Harrison. Together they are parts of English alternative band Thenewno2. They also have already composed the score for the film “Beautiful Creatures”.
For “Learning to Drive” they composed a very inspired score influenced by pop and Indian music.
The album also features the hit “Mathar” by Dave Pike Set and its great sitar, as long as Indian singer Asha Bhosle’s “Aye Neujawan Hai Sab Kuchh Yahan”.
