Australian writer/director Julius Avery (Cannes/Sundance/Berlin award-winner for Jerrycan) is just releasing his upcoming crime thriller Son Of A Gun starring Ewan McGregor and Breton Thwaites.
Locked up, 19-year-old JR finds himself under the protection of Australia's public enemy No. 1, Brendan Lynch... but protection comes at a price. Lynche's crew have plans for their young protege and very soon the debt is called in.
The Son Of A Gun original soundtrack was composed by Australian band The Mess Hall's lead singer/guitarist Jed Kurzel (often compared to The White Stripes and The Black Keys). This experimental electronic score perfect fits the amazing tension of the film. The OST album also contains the beautiful oneiric "Enter One" by Sol Seppy.
