This week, Simple Plan premiered on Prime Video, Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd, an intimate documentary capturing the remarkable 25-year journey of Canadian pop-punk icons and fan-favorites, Simple Plan. Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd offers an unprecedented look into the band's history from basement shows in Montreal to global stardom. The documentary chronicles the creation of hits like "Welcome to My Life," "I'd Do Anything," and "Perfect," and examines the band's continued impact as one of the most successful pop-punk bands still selling out shows worldwide.

The documentary’s official soundtrack, The Kids In The Crowd (Music from the Documentary Soundtrack), is available today digitally and will be released on 2LP and CD on October 24. This release represents Simple Plan’s first career-spanning compilation, featuring a mix of the band’s biggest hits, fan favorites, never-before-heard demos, and a brand new track, “Nothing Changes”. An Amazon Music exclusive digital version includes a bonus track, “I’m Just A Kid (Amazon Music Demo).”

The soundtrack will be pressed on 2LP black vinyl and available at Rhino and participating retailers. A Simple Plan exclusive 2LP Translucent Light Blue vinyl edition will be available exclusively at the band’s webstore.

Of the documentary’s release, Chuck Comeau shared: “We’re so excited for our fans to finally be able to watch this documentary. Working on it has been such an emotional rollercoaster as we got to relive our own story, from playing in our parents’ basement to performing sold out shows all over the world, and everything it took to get there. We hope our fans will enjoy it and be inspired to follow their own dreams.

We're also thrilled to share “Nothing Changes”, a brand new song and video inspired by the documentary and the past 25 years and marking the next chapter in our musical journey.”

Fans will experience never-before-seen archival footage, along with new interviews with band members and celebrated icons of the punk rock community, including Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), Avril Lavigne, Dexter Holland and Noodles (The Offspring), and Fat Mike (NOFX).  The documentary is produced by Sphere Media and was directed by Didier Charette.

The band will kick off their “Bigger Than You Think!” Headline Tour across North America on August 9th in Seattle. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the band, Live Nation will offer a special buy one ticket, get one free beginning at 10am local time on July 8 and running until 10:00pm local time on July 11.
