Matjaž Jelen (Born February 26, 1966) is an Slovenian singer - songwriter, instrumentalist, best known as the frontman of the rock band ŠANK ROCK, which released such milestone hard rock albums. In the early 1980's, he started to record music and with the band Šank Rock perform many stages more than 30 years. However, he has continued to record and produce his own music and perform as "solo artist", and his latest (second) solo album was released in November 2013. In year 2015 he performed as a solo musician with Šank Rock.
