Sunday 25th June 2000 a little after 10pm David Bowie took to the new Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 29 years and 2 days after his first and only other appearance at the festival to perform a set that contained over twenty of his greatest tracks.
Initially festival’s organiser Michael Eavis was not keen on having Bowie headline the event however after Bowies performance concluded Eavis hailed it as the best Glastonbury he had known since launching it in 1970.
Voted by the NME not only the greatest Glastonbury performance but the probably the greatest headline performance at any festival.
We are looking to release the complete performance on three physical formats, 2CD+DVD, 3LP and standard 2CD (there will be no standalone DVD release) and standard and HD digital on 16th November 2018.
