By the release of Songs To Learn & Sing, Echo & The Bunnymen were a force to be reckoned with, pioneering the post-punk, new wave scene having releases four highly acclaimed albums, Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain. Originally released in 1985, Songs To Learn & Sing is a comprehensive collection of Echo & The Bunnymen’s first four albums, from their second single Rescue, to The Cutter and the anthemic The Killing Moon. Also included is Bring On The Dancing Horses, a single launched at the time in conjunction with Songs To Learn & Sing. It arrives back on vinyl as Echo & The Bunnymen go back on tour celebrating 40 years of magical songs throughout 2022.

There will also be a special edition being released via Warner D2C through Dig!, Rhino and the Warner Music stores – which contains the album on splatter 1LP, alongside a 7” of Echo & The Bunnymen’s first single The Pictures On My Wall / Read It In Books.

It coincides with Echo & The Bunnymen going on tour starting from 1st Feburary, tour dates are below. There will be some opportunity to advertise Songs To Learn & Sing, and the Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain vinyl released late last year at these shows – with more details to follow.

An official YouTube channel for the band went live late last year, with HD upgrades and missing music videos to launch from 1st February. We are currently looking into licensing some footage from the BBC where the band were interviewed about Songs To Learn & Sing back in 1985, which will be posted on socials and their YouTube channel – pending licensing.

Advertising access is available through the bands socials, and please send through any promo opportunities for Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant – however due to the tour there may be less availability this time around.
